Continuing our drive for reform

We are continuing our drive for banking reform and have proffered proposals to the relevant authorities for the imminent establishment of a BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION ACT, recently made public by the Honorable Prime Minister, and now before Parliament before becoming law. But this is over ONE year now.

Discussions are being held with attorneys to seek redress via a class action suit for consumers who were overcharged banking and utility fees we raised with the Honorable Minister of Legal Affairs.

With funding and grants promised from our pending membership in two Worldwide and reputable consumer bodies, we would expand our operations to other interest of consumer concerns, not limited to our core activities.

PIRG's Vision

PIRG's vision is for an expanded consumer and advocacy group extending throughout the Caribbean , and we have already been approached, unsolicited, in this regard.
